who am i
without my words
like rain on the roof
spring rain
swelling with the
rhythms of life
ebbing with the
low tides and
fading with the moon
who am i
without a voice:
i listen
and i know
who i am
and i know
who you are

everything is blooming, Rilke
“Everything is blooming most recklessly. If it were voices instead of colors, there would be an unbelievable shrieking into the heart of the night.”
Rainer Maria Rilke
Blossom deep down

Blossom deep down,
mountain tops swaying,
wind stretched out in rest,
the tree stands frozen.
mountain tops swaying,
wind stretched out in rest,
the tree stands frozen.
Then suddenly a flowering,
and in my heart's center
you burn in me, tree.
and in my heart's center
you burn in me, tree.
Nowhere is there rest in me,
I cry out in flames,
a sea swelling in all things.
I cry out in flames,
a sea swelling in all things.
Then they too - blossom and
tree - twitch, having already
reddened with sweetness.
tree - twitch, having already
reddened with sweetness.
- Henriette Hardenberg, Südliches Herz
