Alan Watts, head of a dead cat, Zen
A Zen master was once asked, "What is the most valuable thing in the world?"
He answered, "The head of a dead cat!" "
"Why"
"Because no one can put a price on it!"

Уноси моё сердце, Take my heart away, Tchaikovsky
Carry my heart away
into distant harmony
where sorrow dwells, like the moon
behind a grove.
In these sounds there's a smile of love
gently shining on your burning tears.
O child, here in these invisible
waves
how easily i surrender to your song!
Higher, higher i soar on a silvery
path
like a trembling shadow cast by a wing
Your voice dies in the distance, fading
like sunset at sea in the night.
And from somewhere suddenly,
I know not how,
a ringing tide of pearl crashes down.
Then carry my heart
into distant harmony,
where sorrow is as gentle as a smile,
and I'll rise ever higher
on a silvery path
like the trembling shadow of a wing
