Litany against fear, Bene Gesserit, Dune, Frank Herbert
"I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain."

let me be still
i am not a word nor am i my words
nor yours nor am i my thoughts nor yours.
the only way to truly meet essence is in stillness,
one's own or another one's,
for both to feel "who are you".
i repent all words i ever said or wrote.
we are so complex beings, humans,
full of shit and thought and it is
so hard to see and feel through these clouds.
it is true, it is much easier
to communicate with animals.
response is immediate,
no thoughts in between,
just being.
we need a counter-culture
of silence, ritual stillness,
i shut up.
i fail.
nor yours nor am i my thoughts nor yours.
