Moddi - Poetry (Live at Jakob Church of Culture)
waiting for food fills the stomach....
isolation
insulated
in my thick
woolen coat
walking in the sun
a travelling
island
swimming
on the way of fate
i don't want
to break at the edges
but can carry
a blind passenger
waves and words
and humans
you will not stop
gnawing at my land
and i cannot
touch another star,
afloat under distant skies,
isolated at last
for a time
of war and peace
in my thick
woolen coat
as i cannot
be near you,
how can you
be near?
i will not undress
to be looked at
and to be told
you are not
where i want to be.
in my thick
woolen coat
walking in the sun
a travelling
island
swimming
on the way of fate
i don't want
to break at the edges
but can carry
a blind passenger
waves and words
and humans
you will not stop
gnawing at my land
and i cannot
touch another star,
afloat under distant skies,
isolated at last
for a time
of war and peace
in my thick
woolen coat
as i cannot
be near you,
how can you
be near?
i will not undress
to be looked at
and to be told
you are not
where i want to be.
Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun - 03 - Ummagumma - Pink Floyd
Little by little the night turns around.
Counting the leaves which tremble at dawn
Lotuses lean on each other in yearning
Under the eaves the swallow is resting
Set the controls for the heart of the sun.
Over the mountain watching the watcher.
Breaking the darkness, waking the grapevine.
One inch of love is one inch of shadow
Love is the shadow that ripens the wine.
Set the controls for the heart of the sun.
The heart of the sun, the heart of the sun.
Witness the man who raves at the wall
Making the shape of his questions to Heaven
Whether the sun will fall in the evening
Will he remember the lesson of giving?
Set the controls for the heart of the sun.
The heart of the sun, the heart of the sun.
