Carl Jung, some "simple" quotes i appreciate
“The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.”
“Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.”
“Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself, or from holding certain views which others find inadmissible.”
“There's no coming to consciousness without pain.”
“We cannot change anything unless we accept it.”
“There are as many nights as days, and the one is just as long as the other in the year's course. Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word 'happy' would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.”

Carl Jung - Where Does Meaning Come From
the last part is enrichening , so i feel.
for me.
of course it is a problem to "mix" a science...psychology..with a religious or say spiritual way..
can be confusing.. but he was a great man with true experience and insights shared,
and i should have enjoyed to meet him!
On the other hand it is a most courageous approach, and even modern physics
approach spiritual concepts of the universe, otherwise they cannot see any sense in
what happens during their research

Carl Jung - Anima Projection
in the text below the film:
it ends with something fairly riduculous about "controlling" anima/animus.
i don't know if this can be a correct quote by Jung himself...
to recognize...to be conscient...to walk through..yes.
control is NEVER anything we should have as an aim.
too bad when it is necessary....to control..
and of course...this was about the negative aspect..
and
there is a decidedly positive aspect too.
Jung sees this too!

Carl Jung - Dreams
there are a few problems i can notice, for me.
this guy talks about psyche, unconscious and ego in scientific terms.
nothing about the soul is science:
I prefer the word soul instead of psyche, it means something else for me.
he talks about the development of the personality,
i should like to talk rather about spiritual development : purification of the mind,
opening to love and finding the wisdom of kindness, a simple and modest way to go.
but after all, it is about psychology, and it is a necessary occupation
(though maybe not science)
which can help us to free and purify our mind and to find what is left after all
construction and deconstruction.
the film is good.
