Somewhere along the road, Steeleye Span
Somewhere along the road
Someone waits for me
Beyond the present storms that blow
Waiting patiently
No secrets held in an open heart
A spirit that soars over mountains
Somewhere along the road
Someone waits for me
Someone waits for me
Beyond the present storms that blow
Waiting patiently
No secrets held in an open heart
A spirit that soars over mountains
Somewhere along the road
Someone waits for me
Somehow a guiding light
Always shows the way
To those who lose their way by night
Searching for the day
A day away from happiness
Tomorrow will bring a new sunrise
Somewhere along the road
Someone waits for me
Always shows the way
To those who lose their way by night
Searching for the day
A day away from happiness
Tomorrow will bring a new sunrise
Somewhere along the road
Someone waits for me
Sometimes when winds are still
Unexpectedly
Perhaps beyond this silent hill
A voice will come to me
Raise your eyes and see my world
Raise your voice and sing out
Somewhere along the road
Someone waits for me
Unexpectedly
Perhaps beyond this silent hill
A voice will come to me
Raise your eyes and see my world
Raise your voice and sing out
Somewhere along the road
Someone waits for me
Somewhere along the road
Someone waits for me
Beyond the present storms that blow
Waiting patiently
No secrets held in an open heart
A spirit that soars over mountains
Somewhere along the road
Someone waits for me
Someone waits for me
Beyond the present storms that blow
Waiting patiently
No secrets held in an open heart
A spirit that soars over mountains
Somewhere along the road
Someone waits for me
Somewhere along the road
Someone waits for me
Someone waits for me

When you hear the stones sing
When you hear the stones sing
in the pauses of wind,
when you smell the musk
of fallen leaves,
when you listen
to beetles
rustling in the grass
and when you see
the clear drops of dew
on green moss,
why resist
happiness?
then even rocks
will whisper
soft and sweet
and dreams
come true
when you let
them go.
there are these
moments,
true, precious,
never to come again,
forever yours.
When you hear the stones sing
your love will
kiss yoú
and all is embrace.
in the pauses of wind,
when you smell the musk
of fallen leaves,
when you listen
to beetles
rustling in the grass
and when you see

i didn't want my grandfather's longcase clock
i didn't want my
grandfather's clock.
He set the time
with a frown
and moving the
pendulum to swing,
he must have
felt almighty.
i didn't want my
grandfather's clock,
the ticking away
of minutes and hours
amplified in the hall
reaching me upstairs
to sink into the moods
of Ingmar Bergman.
I didn't want my
grandfather's clock,
it gave a rhythm
which disturbed
the space of days
and divided my flight
into seconds and parts,
dripping and dropping,
and still i don't want
my grandfathers clock
in my home where
i will not measure time
nor sieve water,
where i need silence
in which i can let my
soul fill with eternity
grandfather's clock.
