I don't like to watch the news. Only bad news. This is a symptom..
and I hate to participate in this way of being shown what i should see. Ja, the world is as it is, confusing, good and bad at the same time. It always was, just check out history.
Why not show more of the good and joy and smiles? Why not show more intelligence and humanity?
I'd wish more balance in the media world of daily news.
It is not that i want them to repress violence, keep us away from harm like small children, but i want to see examples of people and groups meeting this world with more and with more emotional intelligence.
Harder to find than people killed and bombs dropped and ships sinking, planes missing?
Well, go and look. Open your eyes. The daily news depend on what the press wants to see and what the press thinks we want to see .and then it turns out that people want to see this...so they can remain in blind fatalism, just sit back and say: this world is so bad. Is this intelligent? It makes money. That's it.
Well i could make money. I'd just keep mentioning three words: muslim, terrorist, Israel.
Then I use another three: sex, murder, love. Then I use another three: politician, USA, Merkel.
And so on.
Are you wiser now?
