Mahler, Adagietto from Symphony No 5, Hermann Scherchen ,1964

posted today by a friend, and i know why.
it is indeed very beautiful, a release of love,
a declaration of love, moving ever so lightly
between sadness and joy, between intimacy and
letting go.
(Also, it is the musical theme of  the film "Death in Venice".)
