John 1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
"in principio erat Verbum et Verbum erat apud Deum et Deus erat Verbum"

The word in the translated text was logos which does not mean "word".
We do not know about the beginning and certainly not about a word creating our universe and us. Modestly we may see all this as an emanation of what we may call God or not. It, all, God,  is beyond the grasp of thoughts and thankfully beyond the significance of words.

We cannot go beyond experience and sensation of presence  in our understanding.

As cutting as words may be as a tool of communication they lack the essence of truth, and analyzing words makes us stumble between shadows and walk in circles without awareness of the flow of life.

I am afraid of words, more and more, afraid of my own words.

From early childhood words define our perception of this life, this world, each other.
We learn to call a rose a rose and learn to be stupidly satisfied by recognizing a rose as a rose. We do not SEE it anymore as before when we still didn't know to say rose.

I have to learn a new language without words.

and more is not to say

i finished with my enemies, the doors are open anyway, and i deal with enemies as soon as they come inside, immediatley. i am my only one enemy, sometimes...

all other enemies are fucking anonymous and hard to catch.

this kind of anonymity is a symptom of a society where humans and animals are

being continuously forced to live estranged to life itself, and it means suffering under an unknown and deadly power from behind curtains painted by paragraphs.

The Doors - Touch Me

Las estrellas de los cielos / Yo m'enamorí d'un aire

i watched a robin

i watched a robin
this foggy morning.
will it stay
for the winter?

will this one
survive the snow?
and when
did it break the shell?

for a moment of wonder,
a robin is a robin,
but i just saw
and felt this presence.

i call it a robin
and it is.
and then liquid light
in warm fluttering,
filling a pulsing heart

extending in wings,
impossible to touch,
it left in flight
for its own part of life.

OSHO: Life Is Not a Problem

being but men we will go on asking questions. being wiser we will not want answers but accept us to be questioning. " foolosophy" , wonderfully provoking, is more or less a sociological tool and it deals with the interaction of men in a defined society questioning and defining rules and roles and their background. it is not an answer to life, very true. and this short video is just wonderfully mischievous and enlightening.....:-)

courage: Laotse, Nelson Mandela, Ezra Pound, Paulo Coelho, Rilke

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”
― Lao Tzu

“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
― Nelson Mandela

“If a man isn't willing to take some risk for his opinions, either his opinions are no good or he's no good”
― Ezra Pound

“there are two spiritual tests: The patience to wait for the right moment and the courage not to be diappointed to what you have encounter.”
― Paolo Coelho

“Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act, just once, with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that frightens us is, in its deepest essence, something helpless that wants our love.”

― Rainer Maria RilkeLetters to a Young Poet

I have longed to move away, by: Dylan Thomas

I have longed to move away
From the hissing of the spent lie
And the old terrors' continual cry
Growing more terrible as the day
Goes over the hill into the deep sea;
I have longed to move away
From the repetition of salutes,
For there are ghosts in the air
And ghostly echoes on paper,
And the thunder of calls and notes.

I have longed to move away but am afraid;
Some life, yet unspent, might explode
Out of the old lie burning on the ground,
And, crackling into the air, leave me half-blind.
Neither by night's ancient fear,
The parting of hat from hair,
Pursed lips at the receiver,
Shall I fall to death's feather.
By these I would not care to die,
Half convention and half lie.

Being but men, by:Dylan Thomas

Being but men, we walked into the trees
Afraid, letting our syllables be soft
For fear of waking the rooks,
For fear of coming
Noiselessly into a world of wings and cries.

If we were children we might climb,
Catch the rooks sleeping, and break no twig,
And, after the soft ascent,
Thrust out our heads above the branches
To wonder at the unfailing stars.

Out of confusion, as the way is,
And the wonder, that man knows,
Out of the chaos would come bliss.

That, then, is loveliness, we said,
Children in wonder watching the stars,
Is the aim and the end.

Being but men, we walked into the trees.

María Dolores Pradera - Tú que puedes vuélvete

Soñé que el río me hablaba
Con voz de nieve cumbreña
Y, triste, me recordaba
Las cosas de mi querencia.

Qué cosas más parecidas
Son tu destino y el mío
Andar cantando y penando
Por esos largos caminos.

"Tú que puedes, vuélvete"
-me dijo el río llorando-
"Los cerros que tanto quieres"
-me dijo-
"allá te están esperando".

Qué cosa triste es ser río
Quién pudiera ser laguna
Oír el silbo en el junco
Cuando lo besa la luna.

"Tú que puedes, vuélvete"
-me dijo el río llorando-
"Los cerros que tanto quieres"
-me dijo-
"allá te están esperando".

The Doors: Universal Mind

The Doors - Universal Mind Lyrics

Artist: The Doors

I was doing time in the universal mind
I was feeling fine
I was turning keys, I was setting people free
I was doing all right

Then you came along with a suitcase and a song
Turned my head around
Now I'm so alone, just looking for a home
In every place I see

I'm the freedom man
I'm the freedom man
I'm the freedom man
That's how lucky I am

I was doing time in the universal mind
I was feeling fine
I was turning keys, I was setting people free
I was doing all right

Then you came along with a suitcase and a song
Turned my head around
Now I'm so alone, just looking for a home
In every place I see

I'm the freedom man

I was doing time in the universal mind
I was feeling fine
I was turning keys, I was setting people free
I was doing all right

Then you came along with a suitcase and a song
Turned my head around
Now I'm so alone, just looking for a home
In every place I see

I'm the freedom man
That's how lucky I am
I'm the freedom man
I'm the freedom man

Khalil Gibran, "pain"

“Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding... And could you keep your heart in wonder at the daily miracles of your life, your pain would not seem less wondrous than your joy”

“Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding... It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self. Therefore, trust the physician and drink his remedy in silence and tranquility.”

“The chemist who can extract from his heart’s elements compassion, respect, longing, patience, regret, surprise, and forgiveness and compound them into one can create that atom which is called love.”

Claude Debussy, 'Nocturne'

Scriabin - Poème-Nocturne op 61

Stop It

und ich kreise jahrtausendelang;
und ich weiß noch nicht: bin ich ein Falke, ein Sturm
oder ein großer Gesang.

Rainer Maria Rilke, 20.9.1899, Berlin-Schmargendorf

comment:
most times i think he was a very narcissistic man. and not willing to meet himself so much. tactics of avoidance, negation, evasion and walking in  a net of lies, playing with prettiness and beauty and pathos altogether  to impress himself and others.sometimes he was true, and i like these moments in his art.

A lemon, Pablo Neruda : wonderful poem

A lemon
Pablo Neruda

Out of lemon flowers
loosed
on the moonlight, love's
lashed and insatiable
essences,
sodden with fragrance,
the lemon tree's yellow
emerges,
the lemons
move down
from the tree's planetarium

Delicate merchandise!
The harbors are big with it-
bazaars
for the light and the
barbarous gold.
We open
the halves
of a miracle,
and a clotting of acids
brims
into the starry
divisions:
creation's
original juices,
irreducible, changeless,
alive:
so the freshness lives on
in a lemon,
in the sweet-smelling house of the rind,
the proportions, arcane and acerb.

Cutting the lemon
the knife
leaves a little cathedral:
alcoves unguessed by the eye
that open acidulous glass
to the light; topazes
riding the droplets,
altars,
aromatic facades.

So, while the hand
holds the cut of the lemon,
half a world
on a trencher,
the gold of the universe
wells
to your touch:
a cup yellow
with miracles,
a breast and a nipple
perfuming the earth;
a flashing made fruitage,
the diminutive fire of a planet.

Bird, Pablo Neruda

Bird
Pablo Neruda

It was passed from one bird to another,
the whole gift of the day.
The day went from flute to flute,
went dressed in vegetation,
in flights which opened a tunnel
through the wind would pass
to where birds were breaking open
the dense blue air -
and there, night came in.

When I returned from so many journeys,
I stayed suspended and green
between sun and geography -
I saw how wings worked,
how perfumes are transmitted
by feathery telegraph,
and from above I saw the path,
the springs and the roof tiles,
the fishermen at their trades,
the trousers of the foam;
I saw it all from my green sky.
I had no more alphabet
than the swallows in their courses,
the tiny, shining water
of the small bird on fire
which dances out of the pollen.
