the earth turns, beginning of spring

the earth turns
i change and turn,
a buzzard soars into
the sky, a sharp cry

a stone breathes slowly,
ants climbing the moss.
a river burbles near,
and wind and rain

bring the scent of soil
and grass and flowers.
it is still cold here now,
i have to walk on.

all tears cried will end
in the vastness of the sea,
all pain will be transformed
and all longing will find an end

the earth turns and turns,
blood turns in my heart ,
our dreams turn and turn
and we breathe and breathe

i know my home
is in the stars, and i know
nothing will remain but ashes
and a sparkle of light

Sara Jane Morris ~ FRAGILE (Cover)

nothing to say against this cover (original : Sting)

Lyrics

If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one
Drying in the colour of the evening sun
Tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away
But something in our minds will always stay
Perhaps this final act was meant
To clinch a lifetime's argument
That nothing comes from violence and nothing ever could
For all those born beneath an angry star
Lest we forget how fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star, like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are, how fragile we are

On and on the rain will fall
Like tears from a star, like tears from a star
On and on the rain will say
How fragile we are, how fragile we are
How fragile we are, how fragile we are

Easter Monday

above : i used to ride horses there as a child and youth

"In my beginning is my end. In succession
Houses rise and fall, crumble, are extended,
Are removed, destroyed, restored, or in their place
Is an open field, or a factory, or a by-pass.
Old stone to new building, old timber to new fires,..."

T.S. Eliot, from: East Coker

(though it is rather a November poem..but...because)

Icarus

The Fall of Icarus, 17th century, Musée Antoine Vivenel

I see Icarus who fell into the sea,
wings of dreams melting in the light,
I see a merciless blue sky,
and i listen to the spring

Van Morrison - Enlightenment(original-HD)

as nothing does not exist everything is real or...~

on "decency"

see above link. i don't share the deep Christianity in it, the "Lord", but all else.
I don't know if we are all drunkards, maybe , but not all the time.
it is a question of to find a way to self destruction at times easier than
to confront this self, dissolve attitudes and habits and desire and fear and sins (sin=acting against better knowledge) in the light of intelligence and to accept as well as to change.

Townes Van Zandt - If I Needed You

Vicente Amigo: Tres notas para decir te quiero

Josephine Foster - I'm A Dreamer

I am the boundless ocean, Ashtavakra Gita

From the Ashtavakra Gita (approx. fifth century B.C.):
“I am the boundless ocean
The wind that blows anywhere it wants to
Bears in my chest the vessel we call World
The World tosses from one side
to another
But I remain serene
I am the deep ocean
Where waves drive
themselves up
Where planets are shaken, up and down
But I remain immutable
I am the boundless ocean
From which all constellations came from
Beyond all forms
I exist. I am.”
