when we have nothing
we say we have hope.
it is not love to hope
that another changes.
so what is this hope
but keeping the claws
of the heart in the prey
of wishes and visions.
when we lose hope
we say we have faith.
but where is the root,
will faith cure, which one?
would ever a blindfold
erase the blindness,
ease the suffering,
or will wax in my ears
spare me words or
bring silence to the mind?
when my hand is paralyzed,
will i turn softer?
i don't know what i feel
but i know when i sit
on a high chair, i will
fall deeper, hard.
the time for words and
promises has passed,
i will tell you what i feel
when i can remember.
