in the yawn of the universe: my Valentine's poem

in the yawn of the universe
this is where we live
more than a billion
of self-conscious lives,

biters cased in the idea
of self, all running, erring,
fighting each one for himself,
all thinking they must be free

altogether a disorderly crowd
unable to compete with ants,
they cannot find happiness,
they hunt for freedom,

purchase and consumption
of life eternal, wish to be
independent from bees, from earth,
from digestion, dirt and death

unsoiled by suffering,
masked and painted,
they ask for approval,
for confirmation of eternity

seek life not pure but clean,
even sex will not be naked
nor can mating be true,
it shows too much of

vulnerability and death,
the power of presence
must give way to artificial
creatures and disgust is near,

in the yawn of the universe
the biters cannot find love
nor are they ready for sacrifice,
they are all crucified

to themselves, often blind
and ready to follow
a man with promises
of  ruling the earth,

never wholehearted
in giving, in staying,
in caring, never stepping
outside the circle

nor going inside
they have no center
but their fear and
their skeleton casing.

in the yawn of the universe
our life is short
but now is now,
the mystery is here.

now go..
and kiss,
it will close your lips.
silence.
