Soneto LXIX, Pablo Neruda

brusca, incitante, a conocer mi vida,
ráfaga de rosal, trigo del viento,

y desde entonces soy porque tú eres,
y desde entonces eres, soy y somos,
y por amor seré, serás, seremos.

Tal vez..maybe..don't know ,
feel lonely and it appeared so far
too much non-mutual,
maybe  a nice illusion,
possible and impossible,
walking on air and water,
flying close to the edge
of joy and of pain, too close
not to burn. i blew away the smog
but i have been running out of breath.
the cold winter nights are crystal
clear, i see stars, the moon.
more i don't know and cannot.
i miss a finger, two fingers,
a hand, an arm, a kiss,
walks and sleep without words.
maybe missing is just this what it is.

through infinity we come through
zero and we will go through zero
to infinity.
i see no other way open to mortal beings.

mathematics could be continuous naming and expression
of  infinity, there is no end, no beginning,
all goes through zero back and forth,
it is music, the tides, it is longing
without words, songs ebbing and rising,
now i am one which is neither number
nor does it stay one nor does it mean itself,
one i am as a state of in between, following
as well as proceeding in an infinite  row of
bardos, states, numbers, songs and all is
clouded by the limited perception of being one,
an infinitesimal wave and light
who is not one but part of parts of another one
as well as non-part but changing entity and multitude.
mathematically i am no-thing when seen through zero,
the point of creation and of death.

and zero says where love must go, we come from -1
to +1 with doors opening for infinity, for life,
for death.

now the night and inside the sea,
i go from one to one without counting.
